Studied experimental psychology and community counseling, with a dash of teaching. Spent 40+ years as an electrician; I'm closing down my contracting business in late 2019. I remain heavily involved in the safety community. Aside from a couple of anthologized short stories, I've written nonfiction, generally science-technology subjects. These have ranged from social science to health and safety to codes and standards, with some physics, ergonomics (okay, that's part of health and safety), to customer relations and ethics. I've published three books so far; wrote various columns, including one that ran 22+ years; a fraternal newsletter that ran 33+ years; countless free-lance articles; and bits of editing or fact-checking, both paid and pro bono.
